Embroidery Software Dongle Driver V7.41

This is the most current dongle driver available: v7.41 (updated 111115)

Driver is for the following software:

  • BERNINA Version 7 Embroidery Software
  • BERNINA Version 6 Embroidery Software
  • BERNINA Version 5 Embroidery Software
  • BERNINA Version 4 Embroidery Software

Supported on the following Operating Systems:

  • Windows 10
  • Windows 8 and 8.1
  • Windows 7
  • Windows Vista
  • Windows XP

To ensure that your dongle is recognized by the computer and working correctly, you will need to download and install the latest dongle driver. Have your dongle connected to your computer and download the following driver update:

Installation instructions in brief

  1. Click on the file link below
  2. Extract the Zip file
  3. Disable your firewall
  4. Disable any anti-virus software
  5. Run the HASPUserSetup.exe
  6. When it's finished reboot your computer

    Which dongle does this update? Is this for DesignWorks, Designer Plus or Editor Plus?

    Once again, when it says "Dongle Driver (latest)" why isn't there a release date so we don't confuse the EARLIER "latest" with the actual, current latest? Really, we need to be able to tell the difference(s) between. Latest is too vague.

    Sheri Sterling, after this dongle update, my Windows 10 computers work just fine running V7 software. Not certain why the article referenced by Lisa has not been updated as of today.

    Update: I had uninstalled v7 software from my computers prior to the upgrade to Windows 10. After the dongle update, I reinstalled v7 to those computers and it runs fine. On the computer I left on Windows 7, I completed the upgrade to Windows 10 after the dongle update and left the Embroidery v 7 software as is and it didn't work. So, I uninstalled Embroidery v. 7 and reinstalled. Now it works fine. Steps.
    1. Uninstall your Embroidery 7 software
    2. Update your dongle driver.
    3. Upgrade to Windows 10
    4. Install your Embroidery 7 software
    5. Embroidery 7 will inform you there is an update, install that.
    Alternate option.
    Wait for Bernina to update their software so it fixes itself automatically.
