Yes you have the correct software as Version 7 will work just fine with Windows 8 and your embroidery machine.

Do I have the right software?
I upgraded my computer to Windows 8. I have a Bernina Aurora 440QE so in order to update I ordered Embroidery Software 7 and I received Embroidery Software 7 Update. Are they one and the same or two different items?
