Corel Essentials 6

The Erase function just will Not work. All it does is add lines, instead of erasing. Will there be a fix for this? The program is just useless to me without this function. It will not work either in Corel Draw within the Embroidery software or as the stand alone Corel Draw program that came with Bernina v7.
